Borkowski is a lifelong  Bergen County  resident and extensive traveler inspired by nature – both in her backyard and far from home.

“When Dreams Whisper” is a pictorial essay designed to take the viewer on a journey through the changing seasons.  Her subjects include dazzling sunsets, delicate butterflies and flowers and tranquil ocean scenes.

Borkowski’s work has been exhibited in several venues in and around  Bergen County and as been recognized by the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs. She began taking photos more than 30 years ago, and this hobby evolved into her passion.

The Flyway Gallery was created by the NJMC to help foster the cultural identity of the 14-town Meadowlands District by providing a space to showcase the talent of local artists.

The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For information, please call (201) 460-8300 or click here.
