Our Next Free Guided Walk: Friday @ Mill Creek Marsh

We have a great free walk coming up tomorrow (Friday): the Great Backyard Bird Count Walk at Mill Creek Marsh.

The walk, at 10 a.m., is sponsored by the N.J. Meadowlands Commission and the Bergen County Audubon Society.

We are offering a 25-cent prize to the first person who spots an Eurasian Green-winged Teal. No lie. And we will ytry to pay up a little quicker this time around.

Great Backyard Bird Count Walk at Mill Creek Marsh, Secaucus
This free two-hour guided nature walk starts at the entrance to the Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus. We’ll walk along the park’s trail system, counting waterfowl, raptors, and any other birds we find. The walk is run by the N.J. Meadowlands Commission and the Bergen County Audubon Society. Directions are on the left-hand side of the blog. Check this blog for last-minute weather updates.
