Special Harrier Meadow Walk This Thursday!

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be holding a bonus BCAS walk this Thursday, Oct. 13, at Harrier Meadow in North Arlington from 10 am to noon. We’ll be looking for sparrows, ducks, late migrants and more in the 70-acre natural area that is normally closed to the public.

Join us this Thursday as the Bergen County Audubon Society presents its Native Plants in the Home Landscape program at 12:30 pm in the Meadowlands Environment Center in Lyndhurst.

BCAS President Don Torino will give a presentation on the importance of planting native plants in your backyard and the benefits they provide to birds, insects, wildlife and your yard. Don’t miss this great program that will help your garden thrive while helping the environment!
