LUNAR ECLIPSE VIEWING CANCELLED

Due to the inclement weather forecast, the Lunar Eclipse viewing scheduled for Sunday at the McDowell Observatory in DeKorte Park has been cancelled.

Even the forecast was correct. Which it was off yet again. The 1-3 inches of snow would of been cleared or melted I thought sky conditions were the key. It’s clearing Roads are fine Too much fear. Not enough common sense

After turning onto Pleasant View Terrace West, go about 100 yards, and marsh entrance will be on your left.
MONK PARAKEETS, Ridgefield
When you reach Railroad Avenue, head south under Hendricks Causeway Bridge. Park car near the bridge and listen; Monk Parakeets live in nests on underside of the bridge.
KEARNY MARSH, Kearny
Camman Drive loops around Gunnell Oval; the marsh is to the east of the easternmost corner of the drive. You can launch kayaks and canoes at this location.
Losen Slote Creek Park, Little Ferry
On Mehrhof Road, turn right just before the DPW garage. Plenty of parking straight ahead and to the right.
