Monk Parakeet
Spend some quality time with mom on Sunday while enjoying nature during the BCAS’ Annual Mother’s Day Walk at the Ridgefield Nature Center. They’ll be looking for warblers, spring migrants and stop to visit the monk parakeets! The Center is located at Shaler Blvd at Ray Avenue, Ridgefield.

Mickey Raine got some nice photos during a dawn walk at DeKorte yesterday. The early risers included Great Yellowlegs, a Muskrat and a Mallard family.

The Bergen County Audubon Society started the Certified Wildlife Garden Program this year to raise awareness of the importance of ensuring that backyards, schoolyards, business grounds and other areas benefit wildlife.
