Bergen Audubon Nature Walk and Awards Program This Sunday (Nov. 5) at DeKorte Park!

There’ s a great double-header on Sunday at DeKorte Park. First, explore DeKorte, a jewel of natural resources, from 10 am to noon with the Bergen County Audubon Society as your guide. Then join the BCAS in the park’s Meadowlands Environment Center at 1 pm as they honor John Dunstan and Ridgefield Park Mayor John Anlian for their contributions to the environment.

Walk meets at the Environment Center, 2 DeKorte Park Plaza, Lyndhurst.

DeKorte Park Walk Tomorrow (Sunday, Oct. 22) With the Bergen County Audubon Society!

Enjoy a guided walk with the Bergen County Audubon Society in the jewel of the Meadowlands park system. We’ll be on the lookout for migrant waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds. The walk runs from 10 am to noon.

Meets outside the Meadowlands Environment Center, 2 DeKorte Park Plaza, Lyndhurst.

The Meadowlands Eagle Festival is Less Than One Month Away!

The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and the Bergen County Audubon Society are proud to present the Meadowlands Eagle Festival on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, (Snow Date is Sunday, 21) at the Meadowlands Environment Center, 2 DeKorte Park Plaza, Lyndhurst.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features guided walks, talks, information tables, an art exhibit, children’s activities and more.

Reminder: Mill Creek Marsh Walk With the BCAS This Wednesday, Oct. 18!

Join the Bergen County Audubon Society this Wednesday, Oct 18, for a guided nature walk at Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus. The walk goes from 10 am to noon. Keep your eyes peeled for migrant waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds.

Park behind Bob’s Furniture store on Mill Creek Drive. The trail entrance is located off the back of the lot.

Meadowlands Environment Center Spooky Science Halloween Party Is Sunday, Oct. 29, from noon to 3 p.m.!

Join Meadowlands Environment Center educators for an afternoon of fun, educational and not so scary, Halloween-themed activities at the Spooky Science Halloween Party. The festivities take place on Sunday, Oct. 29, from noon to 3 p.m. 

Kids will be able to make witchy crafts, visit the Creepy-Crawly Critter Zoo and more. Be sure to dress in costume!
