Summer Solstice Walk Wednesday, June 21, at DeKorte Park (Lyndhurst)
The Bergen County Audubon Society leads this special walk on the Summer Solstice, the first day of Summer and the longest day of the year. Meet at the Meadowlands Environment Center, 2 DeKorte Park Plaza. The walk goes from 10 a.m. to noon.

Butterfly Day at DeKorte Park (Lyndhurst) Is Sunday, July 23! – One Month and 11 Days Away (But who’s counting)
Join in the fun during Butterfly Day, the most highly anticipated Bergen County Audubon Society/NJSEA event of the year! The day runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, and includes walks, talks, information tables and music. For the kids there will be a scavenger hunt, Butterfly Costume Contest, and crafts and games. DeKorte Park is at 2 DeKorte Park Plaza, Lyndhurst.

The entrance to the Marsh Discovery Trail and a portion of the trail are closed due to repairs. The Marsh Discovery Trail and the remainder of the open trail can be accessed from the Transco Trail only.
