The Great Backyard Bird Count each year brings people together to spend time in their favorite places watching and counting as many birds as they can find. They then report their data to organizations that use the observations to help scientists better understand global bird populations before one of their annual migrations.

Celebrate our wonderful avian friends with the Bergen County Audubon Society on Sunday, Feb. 20, at DeKorte Park. The bird walk runs from 10 a.m. to noon.
