The NJSEA 2024 Pontoon Boat Tour season begins this Thursday, June 8 (the trip is sold out) and goes through the end of September. The guided tours offer an up-close experience of the Hackensack River, its marshes and its thriving urban ecosystem. If you’ve only seen the Meadowlands while driving the New Jersey Turnpike or looking out the window of a commuter train, you won’t believe your eyes!

Many species of birds can be seen during the trips, including our resident Peregrine Falcon, Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons.
