Due to the severe weather conditions, DeKorte Park and the NJSEA administrative offices will be opening at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 8.

Seemed appropriate today to post a photo of the “Snowy” Owl that made a quick stopover in the Meadowlands recently. Jill Weiss got these fantastic shots at Liberty State Park back in late January. Great work Jill! The Owl then made a quick appearance on top of the Kingsland Landfill at DeKorte Park in late February but hasn’t been seen since.
