Reminder: Bergen Audubon Nature Walk at Mill Creek Marsh This Sunday (Sept. 2)!

Join the Bergen County Audubon Society for a guided nature walk at Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus this Sunday (Sept. 2) from 10 am to noon. The Marsh is a great place for bird watching and we’ll be looking for for warblers, sandpipers and other shorebirds and fall migrants.

And don’t forget, the Meadowlands Birding Festival is Saturday, Sept. 15 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm featuring walks, talks and kid’s activities. For more information and to register click here

Meadowlands Birding Festival: Info on Keynote Talk By David Sibley

Internationally renowned birding field guide author David Sibley will be the keynote speaker at the Meadowlands Birding Festival on Saturday, Sept. 15. The family-friendly day will include bird walks, talks, raptor visits, kids activities and more celebrating the Meadowlands amazing bird population – for more info and to register click here

BCAS Nature Walk Next This Coming Tuesday (Aug. 21) at Mill Creek Marsh!

Join the Bergen County Audubon Society this coming Tuesday (Aug. 21) as they lead a guided walk of Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus, a fantastic spot for birding. They’ll be keeping an eye peeled for shorebirds like like Semi-palmated Sandpipers, Greater Yellowlegs and Short-billed Dowitchers.
