Great shot taken by Rich Brown on Sunday of a banded Bald Eagle at Losen Slot Creek Park in Little Ferry. The Eagle was also photographed on Jan. 13 at Mercer Lake in Mercer County and was initially banded New Jersey in May 2014. Thanks Rich!

Unlike Sunday night’s snoozer of a game, yesterday morning’s Super Bird Sunday nature walk at DeKorte Park led by the Bergen County Audubon Society was a huge hit! That’s BCAS President Don Torino front and center in the photo above.

Some 50 nature enthusiasts gathered for the two-hour walk and saw a Bald Eagle, Hooded Mergansers, Black Ducks and much more. Check out a story on the walk on northjersey.com
