Are both the Yellowlegs photos of Lesser? I was thinking the first one looked like a Greater (based on the beak-length-to-head ratio and the beak being slightly upward-curved), then saw the text mentioning Lesser and wondered if I’d gotten it wrong. The second photo looks like a Lesser all the way.
The amount and location of barring on the sides seems to indicate that the two photos show different individuals, so I wonder if each shows a different species.
