Join the Bergen Audubon Society next Tuesday (July 21) for a guided walk at Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus, a spectacular area for bird watching! They’ll be looking for shorebirds and raptors. The walk goes from 9 to 11 am.

Join us on Sunday, July 26, at DeKorte Park in Lyndhurst from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and learn all about butterflies and how they help the environment.
The Bergen County Audubon Society will give talks on Creating a Butterfly Habitat at Home and then lead a walk through the park looking for butterflies and native plants. There will also be a self-guided, no contact scavenger hunt for kids.
Schedule: Talks will be at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 am with walks following immediately after. Space is limited and registration is required. Click here to register
Talks are outdoors, social distancing must be practiced and facemasks are required. There will be no access to buildings. Restroom facilities will be provided. Remember to bring water and sunscreen. Rain date: August 5th.
