MRRI staff points out a location at which the Institute will install a water monitor to help measure the sustainability of marshes under future sea-level rise conditions in the Meadowlands. The work is being funded by an EPA grant.

The Bergen County Audubon Society leads a walk from 10 a.m. to noon through one of the last remaining low-lying forests in the Meadowlands, looking for woodland birds and raptors. Be sure to wear boots due to wet conditions.
