The Meadowlands Birding Festival will be held this Sunday, Oct. 2, rain or shine. The live raptor show will be held in the Meadowlands Environment Center. Children’s games and crafts, and informational tables, will also be set up inside.

Join the Bergen County Audubon Society as they traverse Losen Slote Creek Park in Little Ferry, one of the last remaining low-lying forested woodlands in the Meadowlands. The walk runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Wear boots – the park can be muddy and the terrain a bit tough. Park in lot adjacent to soccer field on Mehrhoff Road.
