The next broadcast of Bergen County Audubon Society President Don Torino’s The Nature Connection on WFDU 89.1 FM is this Sunday, Sept. 21. The show airs from 6:30 a.m. to to 7 a.m. on the fourth Sunday of each month and is archived on https://wfdu.fm/ for the following two weeks.
Don’s guest is Kim Korth, State Wildlife Action Plan Coordinator/Planner with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Fish and Wildlife Endangered and Nongame Species Program.
In addition to coordinating the State Wildlife Action Plan, Korth is responsible for conservation action implementation, leading New Jersey’s Bird City Community (aka Network) and focusing on the State’s urban wildlife.
She has more than two decades of experience in wildlife conservation, including project management, coordination, habitat restoration, biological surveys and partnership building.
