Due to weather conditions on the trail, the Mill Creek Marsh nature walk scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 1, has been cancelled.

Due to the cold weather and partly cloudy skies, the McDowell Observatory Viewing Session scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 28, has been cancelled.

The next scheduled viewing session is Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting.

We’ll start the day with this wonderful photo taken yesterday by BCAS President Don Torino capturing DeKorte Park in all its winter splendor. The tidal impoundment is not completely frozen, but with the Super Bowl around the corner we couldn’t help the football reference!
