    The free public viewing schedule has been announced for February, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-10 p.m.

Feb. 2 & 4: Moon, Venus, M31, NGC 457, h & chi Persei, M45, M42, Rigel, Betelgeuse, Saturn (Late)

Feb. 9 & 11:  Moon, Venus, M31, NGC 457, h & chi Persei, M45, M42, Rigel, Betelgeuse, Saturn (Late)

Feb. 16 & 18: Venus, M31, NGC 457, h & chi Persei, M45, M42, Rigel, Betelgeuse, Saturn (Late)

Feb. 23 & 25:  Venus, M31, NGC 457, h & chi Persei, M45, M42, Rigel, Betelgeuse, Saturn (Late), “Possibly” Comet Lulin

 Key:

M31:    The Famous Andromeda Galaxy

NGC 457:  An open star cluster in Cassiopeia also known as the Owl Cluster or the “ET” Cluster due to its resemblance to the movie character

h & chi Persei:  A double star cluster in Persei

M45:  The Pleiades

M42:  The Orion Nebula
