We had a wonderful Super Bird Sunday walk at Losen Slote Creek Park in Little Ferry — with 55 participants and 21 species of birds. Highlights, of course, were the two bird species named after NFL teams, Cardinal and Eagles. (Seahawks were seen later in the day by many at MetLife Stadium, a few miles to the south; the Broncos were apparently no-shows.)
