Where Eagles Fly program This Saturday (Jan. 14) in River Edge!
Here are some more great shots of Al, Alice and their eaglets taken Sunday during the Bergen County Audubon Society’s Save the Eagles Day. These come courtesy of the BCAS’ Joe Koscielny.
The BCAS is also co-sponsoring Where Eagles Fly this Saturday (Jan. 14) at Historic New Bridge Landing, 1201 Main St., River Edge. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes illustrated talks on the Meadowlands and the return of the Bald Eagle. For more info click here
Bearing Frigid Temps for Great Photos Part 2
In our first post yesterday we brought you some great photos from this past Saturday by Mickey Raine, who braved the freezing temps for trips to Mill Creek Marsh and DeKorte Park. But he wasn’t done yet. We’ll start today with photos from his excursion back to Mill Creek and DeKorte on Sunday, including breathtaking views of the Freedom Tower from DeKorte.
