Rare Queen Butterfly Still At DeKorte- Check out story on northjersey.com
As of 9 am the rare for New Jersey Queen Butterfly was still in DeKorte Park, with reports placing the Butterfly near the Science Center.

Rare Queen Butterfly Spotted in DeKorte Park!
Jill Homcy came upon an extremely rare Queen Butterfly yesterday at DeKorte! Bergen County Audubon Society President Don Torino reports that only four of the species have ever been sighted in State history, and only one in North Jersey. The Queen Butterfly was found at the Kingsland Overlolok near where BCAS generously funded the purchase of hundreds of native plants, including those that attract butterflies.
