Digiscoping Seminar With “The Bird Chick” At Meadowlands Birding Festival Saturday Sept. 14!

We’re thrilled to announce that Meadowlands Birding Festival kenote speaker Sharon Stiteler (The Bird Chick) will be giving a digiscoping seminar as part of the festival at 10 am Sept. 14 in DeKorte Park!

Sharon is a digiscoping expert who has traveled the world to work with birds as a field trip leader, birding consultant, humorous keynote speaker, bird field technician, bird bander and writer. For more on Sharon click here

The Meadowlands Birding Festival is a free day of activities for all ages including numerous walks, talks, live raptor shows and kids activities. Please join us on Saturday Sept. 14 from 8:30 am to 3 pm in DeKorte Park. To register click here

BCAS Nature Walk Next Tuesday (Aug. 20) At Mill Creek Marsh!

Join the Bergen County Audubon Society next Tuesday (Aug. 20) for a guided nature walk of Mill Creek Marsh in Secaucus. The Marsh Trail is an excellent place to observe birds and they’ll be looking for shorebirds, egrets and fall migrants.
