Chris Takacs reports that at least four Snow Buntings were seen at DeKorte today. Chris’ photo above was taken on Disposal Road before sunrise. Three additional birds were sited on the Transco Trail late morning.

The Snow Bunting is a bird of the high Arctic and snowy winter fields. For more info click here
