Rich Brown sent in these photos he took at River Barge Park this week of a Baltimore Oriole and Least Sandpiper. If you haven’t been yet, the park/marina is a great place for bird watching. In addition to its Mother’s Day Walk this Sunday at the Ridgefield Nature Center, the BCAS is also hosting a guided walk at DeKorte Park on Tuesday, May 16, from 10 am to noon. We’ll be keeping an eye out for spring migrants, shorebirds and other species. Meets at the Meadowlands Environment Center
