We chose a bird that everyone loves seeing this time of year to focus on in our next two posts. The species, which is most closely associated with the Meadowlands, is the Great Egret. Graceful, elegant and definitely photogenic are just three superlatives when describing this amazing bird. Thanks to Mickey Raine for these recent photos taken at DeKorte Park!
