I photographed the virginia rail just beyond the first blind on the Marsh Discovery Trail. It was in the dry channel on the right side of the trail feeding along the edge of the phragmites. The sora
has provided excellent views close to the boardwalk between the first two gazebos. In addition,
I have seen the least bittern recently perched on one of the silver rails along the Marsh Discovery Trail. I hope this helps.
