Our next free guided walk is next Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Losen Slote Park in Little Ferry.

This park is particularly beautiful in fall, and you never know what migrating birds we might see. Wear boots if you got 'em — the trails can sometimes be muddy.

Third-Tuesday-of-the-Month Nature Walk with the NJMC and BCAS
This free two-hour guided nature walk takes us to Losen Slote Creek Park in Little Ferry, where we’ll look for fall migrants. The walk is run by the N.J. Meadowlands Commission and the Bergen County Audubon Society. Check meadowblog.net for last-minute updates and weather advisories.
