Beginning today, the Meadowlands Commission’s Flyway Gallery is hosting a digital illustration exhibit featuring nature and wildlife inspired by the beauty of the Meadowlands.  

The show, “Nature Draws Itself and Other Works of Art,” by Lyndhurst artist E. Jessie Monaco, will be on display  through Thursday, Sept. 25.

The Flyway Gallery is located in the Meadowlands Environment Center in DeKorte Park, the home of the NJMC.

The exhibit features digital photographs of natural scenes with a side-by-side digital illustration of what Monaco imagines could be there.

Her work is a fun and interesting demonstration of what the creative mind can imagine.

E. Jessie Monaco is a three-time Manhattan Arts International Award of Excellence winner. She is also a graphic artist and has designed greeting cards, textiles, tee-shirts and posters for various clients. For more information, visit the artist’s website, www.jessiemonaco.com.
