Our next walk with Bergen County Audubon Society is at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Losen Slote Creek Park in Little Ferry, where we’ll look for fall migrants and take a gander at the new butterfly garden (right).

Third-Tuesday-of-the Month Walk with the NJMC and BCAS
This free two-hour nature walk starts at the entrance to Losen Slote Creek Park in Little Ferry. We’ll look for warblers and other fall birds – and pick up any litter we find along the way. The walk is run by the N.J. Meadowlands Commission and the Bergen County Audubon Society. Check meadowblog.net for last-minute weather updates.
