One of the great things about retiring from the NJMC, if you’re lucky, is that you get a jar of vintage leachate. (If you don’t know what leachate is, consider yourself even luckier.)
This sample is from 1998, apparently, a very good year if you can get past the bouquet.
(Thanks, NJMC!)
Hermano you will be missed
Hey, Jim . . . We certainly hope that you will thoroughly enjoy your retirement, but knowing your active nature, it is probably a no-brainer. You will be missed, and you have definitely created a nice site to educate and encourage folks to visit the truly amazing sites in the Meadowlands. GREAT JOB!!!
And it appears that you have left this BLOG in good hands with Lisa Cameron taking the helm.
Thanks for your passion over the years . . .
Best Wishes to You and Your Lovely Wife, Pat.

Oh, yes . . . Forgot to comment on the Leachate retirement token. As creepy as it might be in terms of it being the real thing, it is also a fascinating treasure to cherish–a great conversation piece. We can see that the NJMC has a pretty good sense of humor.
Thanks, again, Jim.
