Kaleidoscope of Hope Walk at DeKorte Park Sept. 25


September is Ovarian Cancer awareness month and each year a charity fundraising walk in memory of Lyndhurst resident Diane Lane is held in DeKorte Park.This year’s walk is Sunday, Sept. 25, with check-in at 8:15 am and the walk starting at 9:15 am, rain or shine. To register and donate, click here

The charity walk benefits the Kaleidoscope of Hope Foundation, which raises funds for ovarian cancer research and increases awareness of the symptoms of the disease.



BCAS Nature Walk In Little Ferry This Sunday!

The BCAS is hosting a nature walk at Losen Slote Creek Park in Little Ferry¬† this Sunday, Sept. 4, from 10 am to noon. Be sure to pencil in time during the holiday weekend for this chance to experience the Meadowlands’ natural beauty. They’ll be looking for for thrushes, warblers and other fall migrants.
