Thanks to Mickey Raine for sending in these amazing photos taken on Saturday, starting at sunrise at DeKorte and including Mill Creek Marsh throughout the early morning. There’s adorable Tree Swallows, Osprey and a Greater Yellowlegs. Indeed, what’s not to love about the natural beauty of the Meadowlands! Part two tomorrow morning.
Take advantage of a chance to explore Harrier Meadow, a beautiful natural area normally closed to the public, tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18. The BCAS will lead a walk through meadow from 10 am to noon. They’ll be keeping an eye out for spring migrants, waterfowl and raptors. Harrier Meadow is located off Disposal Road in North Arlington.
