Our next free guided walk is next Tuesday at 10 a.m. at DeKorte Park.

We'll cover the recently reopened loop along the Marsh Discovery Trail and Transco Trail, and look for butterflies and buds as well as birds.

Third-Tuesday-of-the-Month Bird Walk with NJMC and BCAS
   This free two-hour guided nature walk will take us to the birding hotspots at DeKorte Park – we’ll look for shorebirds along the Shorebird Pool’s Marsh Discovery Trail and in the other tidal impoundments. The walk meets inside the Meadowlands Environment Center at DeKorte. The walk is run by the N.J. Meadowlands Commission and the Bergen County Audubon Society.
