Sunday's three-site guided walk — at DeKorte Park, Disposal Road and Harrier Meadow — produced a pretty nifty combined total.
The total number of species was 46, with highlights (seen by some) including Great Horned owl, Common Redpoll, Orange-crowned warbler and American Pipit.
We're not saying there were too many Red-tails, but we did think we were being stalked at times (above). Ditto with a Downy Woodpecker who tagged along with one of our groups.
