Can you ID this crane, seen off Valley Brook Avenue earlier this month?

It’s probably only a slighly mounded dirt pile, but taking some creative license here and going to call it a Sandhill Crane.
I was wondering about that. It appeared to be driving piles into the ground. Stabilization? Venting? Foundation for a new building?
Well there are hoops that hold the bottom of the barrel on, so I would say Whooping crane
