Great day, great group, great birds. We apologize to all the participants for the overabundance of Diamondback Terrapins (a smattering are pictured above) that were constantly spoiling everyone’s view of the shoreline.
Highlights included Clapper Rail, young Peregrines, YC and BC Night Herons, and lots of shorebirds. We also had a Boat-tailed Grackle, below.
