BCAS Birding for Beginners Class and Walk – Sunday, April 12, at DeKorte Park

Ready to begin your birding adventure but not sure quite how to start? Join the Bergen County Audubon Society for a Birding for Beginner’s class that covers bird identification, optics and field guides. A walk through DeKorte Park follows the program. Bring your binoculars and keep your eyes peeled for Warblers, Greater Yellowlegs, Tree Swallows and more.

The class and walk run from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Meadowlands Environment Center Auditorium, 2 DeKorte Park Plaza, Lyndhurst

Reminder: Bergen Audubon Mill Creek Marsh Walk Tomorrow (April 8)

Join the Bergen County Audubon Society on the Mill Creek Marsh Trail tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8. Mill Creek is a great place for birding – keep your eyes peeled for warblers and other spring migrants. The free walk goes from 10 a.m. to noon.

Meet at the trail entrance, off the back parking lot of Bob’s Discount Furniture, 3 Mill Creek Drive, Secaucus.
