NJSEA 2026 Pontoon Boat Tour registration is now live!

NJSEA guides lead the two-hour trips on the Meadowlands portion of the Hackensack River, discussing the Meadowlands’ history, its remarkable environmental comeback, and thriving urban ecosystem. Staff point out species of raptors, wading birds and other wildlife along the way, providing excellent photo opportunities.

The trips also cover the Authority’s scientific research, restoration, and monitoring initiatives that have contributed to a better understanding and improved health of the river and its environmentally critical wetlands. See you on the river!
