We are still trying to determine what kind of goose this is — leaning toward the hybrid theory put forth by several commenters on the blog.

which I saw in Newark’s Branch Brook Park earlier this month. I had several people tell me that it was clearly a hybrid of some sort – they suggested canada goose/domestic. Which made it hard to enter an eBird.org siting for it, since that hybrid option doesn’t exist. 🙂
