Just in time for Butterfly Day at DeKorte Park on Sunday, we have seen nifty but tiny new-for-the-year butterflies here this week. Can you ID them?
Is the top one a banded hairstreak? The bottom is some sort of skipper. Those guys make me crazy – I can never tell them apart.
Top is an Eastern-tailed Blue.
Bottom is a female Zabulon Skipper.
