"Tobyhanna Autumn" by Mary Moraghan
The Art Association of Rutherford was chartered in 1947 to develop and encourage an interest in the arts. While members of the association live throughout Northern New Jersey, more than 75 percent are from the Meadowlands area and consider the region a source of inspiration.
The Flyway Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, excluding holidays. The Environment Center is located in DeKorte Park, an urban oasis encompassing one-square-mile of wetlands, water views and nature trails. The park is a great place for bird watching and enjoying nature.
Directions to DeKorte Park are on the left-hand side of this blog, in the “About Us” section of the NJMC’s website, at www.njmeadowlands.gov, or by calling (201) 777-2431.
