The weather may not have been the best, but the birding was excellent — including the Rusty Blackbird at left.
We also had great looks at a young Yellow-crowned Night Heron and tons of Yellow-rumps and Palms — but just one raptor, a Coop.

Nice to see the Rusty Blackbird, and sad that they are in decline. We’ve been filming good sized flocks of RBs moving through the Cornell Lab in Ithaca.
