We had another exhilarating Harrier Meadow walk this morning, capped off with incredible looks at the visiting Lark Sparrow, which was hanging out near the detention pond across from the Carillon around noon. (Thanks, Faizan, for re-finding the bird.)
Will post a full list tomorrow (Monday).
Hard to say what we’ll see in our Harrier Meadow walk today (Sunday) at 10 a.m. but we’ll sure look for the Merlin seen Friday (and photgraphed by Greg Miller) and the rare Lark Sparrow (also photgraphed by Greg on Friday), which we hope is still at the nearby Carillon area.
Other target birds include Bald Eagle, Kestrel, Peregrine and Northern Harrier, plus any nely arrived ducks. (Thanks, Greg!)
